Divorce is a process of withdrawing all the boundaries; emotionally, psychologically, economically.

I’ve heard it described as an open heart surgery whilst you’re still awake. With no reassurances that everything will be put back in the right place.

This is not to alarm you. But for you to be clear.

Leaving any marriage is frightening. You’ve built a life around a person and when that breaks down, it can appear as though all comes crashing down or that you’re left with nothing.

I was watching a TV series that quoted this. It absolutely struck me and I love how the writer put this creative piece of truth together.
