LIES ATHEISTS TELL
1. “I don’t believe in God.”
“Deep down inside of everyone’s heart there is a missing element that is always questioning, searching and longing to find God. They may try to ignore it but it still remains there. While all atheists do not believe that any god at all exists, this is not something they can prove and most of them know it well.”
2. “Christianity renders you ignorant.”
"Atheists assume that the Bible somehow teaches Christians to not use your brain because of this whole idea that we believe in this enormous fantasy of a God. This is clearly not the case.”
Three scriptures people…
“My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6) - Yeah, ignorance? Us Christians can’t afford it, it’s too expensive hun.
“Buy the truth and do not sell it; get wisdom, discipline, and understanding”(Proverbs 23:23) - I mean what’s ignorance by the time you make those three purchases? (Inserts the I Don’t Know Emoji) If you’ve read two or three scriptures from the book of proverbs, you’ll notice that it’s a book full of affirmations, wisdom and most of the times verses that have so little to do with religion but more about the ways of life.
"Don’t fool yourself. Don’t think that you can be wise merely by being up-to-date with the times. Be God’s fool—that’s the path to true wisdom. What the world calls smart, God calls stupid. It’s written in Scripture,He exposes the chicanery of the chic. The Master sees through the smoke screens of the know-it-alls." (1 Corinthians 3:18-20) - As Christians, we're called to accept the scriptures above our own reasoning, above our own understanding. C’mon now, this is the God that used a donkey to deliver a message and spear Balaam’s life.
3. “I don’t really care what happens to me after I die. I believe that’s just it.”
"We know that is not the case. When presented with spiritual issues they always dismiss it as fictitious, invalid or unsupported stories. Atheists love the pleasures of sin. Atheists lie to themselves because they love the pleasure of sin. They will not give up their ‘sins’. They love the pleasures of sin so much that the possibilities of being accountable for sin is something they would rather deny. This is why the atheist not only denies the existence of God but atheists also deny the existence of sin itself. Atheists do not believe that there is such a thing called sin. They also do not believe in the existence of good and evil. They would rather lie to themselves by denying the existence of sin or good and evil because admitting to the existence of sin would make the atheist morally and spiritually accountable.”
